TYPES OF INFORMATION COLLECTED
We may collect personal information from you including, without limitation, non-public information that helps Ambassador Chicago identify you, such as your gender, first and last name, birth date, home address and telephone number, email address, business address and telephone number, billing information, credit card information, reservation and stay information, travel agency information, guest preferences, frequent flier information, social media usernames, and other non-public information.
We may collect non-personal information about your use of the Sites such as your IP address, usage statistics, browsing history, type of computer operating system you use (e.g., Microsoft Windows or Mac OS), the type of browser you use, and the domain name of your internet service provider.
HOW WE COLLECT INFORMATION
We collect personal information from you in a variety of ways, such as, for example, when you make a reservation on the Sites, sign up to receive emails, promotions, alerts, announcements and newsletters, apply for positions with Ambassador Chicago via the Site or by email, and communicate with us via email, facsimile, or Ambassador Chicago through the Sites.
Personal information collected by Ambassador Chicago may be stored and processed in the United States in accordance with the laws of the United States.
Ambassador Chicago automatically receives and records non-personal information on our server logs from your browser as well as Ambassador Chicago through other analysis of the Sites. You authorize Ambassador Chicago to email or call you to respond to your communications and provide information to you about specials, promotions, new developments, special events, or services. Unsubscribe instructions are included in each promotional email from Ambassador Chicago . Please note that unsubscribe requests may take up to ten (10) days to become effective. You may not opt out of receiving communications regarding your dealings with the Sites or technical information about the Sites.
Ambassador Chicago may disclose the information it collects to others (i) for the purpose of outsourcing Ambassador Chicago functions to service providers who work on behalf of or with Ambassador Chicago , including agents, vendors, advertisers, consultants and affiliates; (ii) to confirm or update information provided by you; (iii) in the event of any reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer or disposition of all or any portion of Ambassador Chicago business or operations (including without limitation in connection with bankruptcy or any similar proceedings); or (iv) as otherwise authorized by you.

Additionally, we may take personally identifiable information and de-identify it and share it in a de-identified or aggregated form with third parties, advertisers and/or business partners in order to analyze Sites’ usage, demographics, or improve our products or services, improve our user experience, or for similar purposes. We will not re-identify such data and we will ask our contracting parties to agree to keep the data in its de-identified form.
The Site is not directed toward children under 18 years of age nor does Ambassador Chicago knowingly collect information from children under 18. If you are under 18 years of age, you are not permitted to submit any personally identifiable information to Ambassador Chicago . If you are under 21 years of age, you may browse the Sites but you may not register an account on the Site or provide information to Ambassador Chicago , unless specifically stated otherwise.
SECURITY OF INFORMATION
Ambassador Chicago uses reasonable administrative, physical and electronic security measures to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of personal information. No transmission of data over the internet is guaranteed to be completely secure. It may be possible for third parties not under the control of Ambassador Chicago to intercept or access transmissions or private communications unlawfully. While we strive to protect personal information, neither Ambassador Chicago nor our service providers can ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us over the internet. Any such transmission is at your own risk.
UPDATING YOUR INFORMATION
You are encouraged to update your information so that it is current and are responsible for doing so. You may update information by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will use reasonable efforts to process any change you make; provided, however, that requests to delete information are subject to Ambassador Chicago ’s internal reporting, processing and retention policies and all applicable legal obligations.
We may, from time to time, display links to other sites that may be of interest to you. Ambassador Chicago seeks to link only to reputable organizations but we make no warranty or representation in that regard. Because other sites may not be hosted or controlled by Ambassador Chicago , we are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites or the content they provide which may be different from Ambassador Chicago ’s practices.
